Robbie hadn't really been given that much time to think, he had the drive over and that was about it. The fight that had interupted his and Ivy's conversation had erupted into one of those messy situations that lead to the bar needing to be closed. It also lead to Robby recieving a fist to the eye. He kind of lost it with the drunken idiot that punched him too, and his knuckles were a little scuffed and nasty looking, it went with the black eye that had started to grow.
So it was safe to say he really wasn't in a good mood, again. He already had a lot on his mind and now he was all rowled up so he took the long way back to Ivy's dorm to try and cool himself off. It worked to some exstent but not hardly enough.
He pulled up and headed to her room still trying to see some solution to their little problem that was growing inside of her. The thought alone sent a shiver down his spine. You see, some people are afraid of Spiders, some heighs, people are afraid of small spaces, clowns, even turkeys but Robbies fears were commitment and kids, usually they came as a big huge scary package.
He tapped on the door lightly before he walked in and closed it behind him.

Ivy had come home and taken a pregnancy test. Positive. But it was still too early to be sure, so she'd taken one again in a few days. Then she'd planted herself in front of the TV, she hadn't moved until he came in, looking like crap. Why did things always happen at the same time. Ivy stood up when she saw him though. Hopefully, he wouldn't be afraid to touch her. Ivy kissed him tenderly and then said, "I'll go get you some ice." No questions asked. She didn't know what to say now.
So she got an ice pack for his eye and a bag of ice for his hand, wrapping it in paper towel so it wouldn't 'burn' the skin. Ivy knew he was upset, maybe it was better to say nothing.

Robbie sat down when she went to go and get ice for his 'war wounds' and waited, still wracking his brain for something. Maybe they should just avoid the conversation entierly and just act like everything was fine and dandy, like she said, nothing was official yet, she wasn't definatly prego and something could happen yet, if she was or not.
"Can we just, not talk about it? At least for now..." he said when she came back with the ice. He winced a little as it went onto his hand, why he had to be so short fused was beyond him, he always got himself into trouble or hurt because of it.

"That's fine." It wasn't like she felt like talking about it either really. It only made her worry about what was going to happen. they could watch tv, make out, have sex, it didn't matter, as long as they didn't talk more about a baby for now.
She held the ice to his eye, while leaving the other bag on his hand. "I guess the fight was that bad huh? I have make up that'll cover the black eye if you want." Obviously not for right now but when he went out again. It was all she could think of to say. She actually felt worried, though she figured he wasn't in any real pain. He'd ask if he wanted pain killers.
Ivy wanted to ask him to stay the night, not even to have sex, just to have him here. but would he understand that? Simply a need for closeness?

Robbie was glad she agreed though he hadn't doubted she would want to avoide the subject too. It wasn't like either of them wanted this to happen, that either of them were prepared for this bomb shell. They could face it all when it was all more real. For now, he'd be happy to think of it as something that really wasn't likely. That wasn't even happening.
Luck for both of them, Robbie was an expert at keeping irrelivent subject going with ease over important ones. He found it pretty easy to block things out and act normal. For the most part. He even managed a little laugh when she said about makeup"Me? Wearing makeup?" he smiled, the only give away for the drama was the softer look in his blue eyes. Otherwise, you'd never be able to tell that things were anything but normal. "I think I'll pass, it's not that bad is it?" he could feel that it really was that bad, but he'd survive and it wasn't like he cared that hed have it on show. It would go down eventually. "I mean, you can still stand to look at me with it, can't y?" he laughed holding the ice on his bust nuckles. They hurt more than his eye but it wasn't anything he hadn't already had a hundered times before.

"I could always look at you." Ivy said before she could stop herself. she realized how much commitment and actually love was revealed in those words. more than she was aware before she heard them. Always. Black eye or not, old, tired, drugged up, drunk, sick..... Always. For better, for worse.
Ivy lifted the ice a little to look at his darkening skin. She cleared her throat, "It's not that bad." But her voice sounded a little hollow as she tried to smile. Hopefully he'd bump over it and it wouldn't scare him. She seemed to do that a lot lately.

Robbie didn't really know what to say to that comment but he didn't look into it all that much and just smiled a small smile. "I love you. You're s cute." he smirked and would have planted a kiss on her lips if she hadn't been pressing the ice to his face. "That's still wierd to say, y'know" he mused. Not weird in a bad way, just, different. It was odd that it really didn't bother him even a little and hadn't since he said it. That was what he meant and he hoped she got that.
Robbie laughed again at her hardly believable attempt to assure him it wasn't that bad. "That bad uh?" it didn't scare him and he didn't care that he was going to have to walk around with a big black eye, he doubted it would swell all that much so it wouldn't be that bad. "The guy was just swinging his fist everywhere and I got in his way." Rob explaned with a shrug. Not that he'd just shrugged when it happened, his knuckes didn't get all battered because he just shrugged it off.

Ivy laughed. "I love you too." She didn't say so, but she loved that he called her cute. No one called her cute. Hot, sexy, gorgeous. Never cute or beautiful, never words that meant anything but lust. And for some reason, him saying cute meant something. But she'd never admit it because it would sound funny to say out loud. "Hey hey, you're easy on the eyes." She said in response to his comment that her's was weird.
Ivy knew he'd been upset enough to sorta get involved, hence his knuckles, but she said nothing. "It's not that bad, its just going to be obvious for a while." Ivy said with a little smile.

Robbie rust rolled his eye, kind of regretted it because it some how made his bad eye hurt a little. "So, what we gonna do now?" he asked as he gently moved her hand and the icepack from nursing his eye and put the ice pack on the coffee table.
The whole baby thing was still in the back of his mind but he was just ignoring it, he wanted to stay here with her, more than usual, just to be around her. The whole thing made it feel like he needed to stay around her as much as he could because he knew that he was going to have to leave soon. I guess that was kind of how it was but he knew, deep down, he was just making it harder for himself. The more time he spent with her the more he needed to be around her. And that scared him but he couldn't help himself.

Ivy smiled and just sort of held onto his hand. "Whatever you want." She said with a shrug. His tone wasn't suggestive, so that meant he just wanted to hang out, which they did now more than they did in the old days, but not as much as they could. She settled back into her seat and looked at the tv, which was still on, but it was on mute, and then over at Robbie.
"Wanna stay over tonight?" She asked. Ivy tried to say it in a normal tone of voice. She didn't even mean it lustily, she didn't want him like that right then. She just wanted him around. Oh she was going to die if he left. Part of her prayed the baby would disappear.

The way she asked if he wanted to stay over was normal, though not normal for them. He smiled and nodded, glad she'd asked because he really didn't want to leave. "We could watch a movie?" he offered, it was all he could come up with in such a short amount of time.
He'd never really been the cuddle on the sofa kind of guy but he had never really been the kind of guy he was that night before. She was changing him even though she wasn't doing anything at all and it was insane how he couldn't controle it. Cuddling and watching a move was just so intimate and cutsie. So very unthem.

Ivy smiled when he nodded. "Now get your ass over here because you are much too far away." She teased him. He was in a chair after all, and her on the couch. No way they were watching a movie with so much air between them. And for all their dates and random times, they'd never really talked or watched movies. She, like most girls, had a thing for romantic comedies along with anything that had a good romance in it somewhere. She pegged him as a thriller, car cash sort of person.
"And sure, we can watch a movie. I'm going to guess you're an action movie guy, right?" She said flipping to the On Demand channel to see what was there before cracking out her box of DVDs. She liked James Bond, that might work, but she'd wait to see what he suggested. What took her a moment to realize was that even a couple months ago she wouldn't have cared what movies he'd like. Before she would have told him what she liked and done that.

Robbie laughed and folded his arms. "Nah, I think I like it better over here. Away from you." he stated but a teasing smirk. Of course he had the complete opposite feeling to the space between them but he liked bugging her.
He smirked once at her before turing to look at the TV making it more belieavle that he wasn't planning on moving and looked as she skimmed through the On Demands. "Right, am I really that easy to read? Wanna guess what my favorite movie is?" he asked, "I'll give you a clue, it's a car movie." he said, looking back at her now. "But as long as you don't make me watch some soppy sad romance movie, like the Notebook..." he pulled a discusted face "I'll come and sit with you." he finished with a smile.

"Jerk," Ivy teased back, sticking out her tongue at him like a little kid. But she knew he couldn't stay away from her, not even now when there was a large possibility that she was going to have his kid.
"A car movie?" She repeated, furrowing her eyebrows. "Herbie the love bug?" She asked with a laugh, not really serious. "Cars? Fast and Furious? How should I know?" Ivy laughed again and shook her head.
"My favorite is this cute movie with random wonderful inapropriate moments? Its a Christmas movie. Wanna guess?" She teased him lightly. It was Love Actually, a movie from the early 2000s, a bunch of love stories in one, ones that didn't work out, cute porn stars and cheating husbands. And everyone ends up in a better place than when they started. She wasn't sure if he knew it, but she wouldn't make him watch it.
"The Notebook made me cry, I hate crying, I wouldn't make you watch that. I was thinking more along the lines of like James Bond or something."

Robbie stuck his tongue out at her childishly when she called him a jerk. He leant back in his chair and made it seem like he was getting comfortable with a playful smirk on his lips. It was weird, this baby thing seemed to have made things even easier between them rather than making them dificult. It was like it was pulling closer even though that was the last thing Robbie really wanted it to do.
Robbie was surprised she actually got it "Oh yeah, Herb is the shit." he joked shaking his head a little. "Fast and the Furious, what the hell is cars anyway?" he pulled a face. Who actually called a car film cars? Really? He'd never heard of the disney movie and would never intend to watch it if she told him it was a cartoon. The only good cartoon was shrek, Even that was pushing it.
Robbie pulled a confused face "You really expect me to get that? Home Alone?" he laughed. It was the only christmas movie he had ever seen. That and the Muppits Christmas. He wasn't really a big fan of christmas movies so he wasn't even going to be able to make a guess. "Your gonna have to help me out. I have no idea." he confessed.
Robbie looked at her in a sort of confused way "You don't like the Notebook? Do you know how happy that makes me?" he even let out a sigh of reliefe. All sad movies were annoying if you asked him, he could never really understand why they were sad. "I honestly can't even imagine you crying..." he said studying her face a little. She just seemed so tough and unbreakable.
"Casino Royel?" he asked, it was his favorite James Bond, he wasn't really that into all the old ones but the new Danial Craig ones were pretty good.
