Toni certainly didn't make a living as an actress. Sure she got a part in her favorite play, and with such a small cast, everyone was important. It was off-broadway, but still her big break. But that was the way things worked, once it was over she'd have no income. So Toni had to get another job.
She didn't mind waitressing really. She liked people, she liked food. Especially italian food, since she of course was italian. Al was a wonderful boss too, which made life easy. she didn't make a lot, but she made enough.
At the moment she was cleaning the windows.

Nursing the worst hangover of his life, Jason decided he needed some food, some mad good food. And the first place that had popped into mind was Big Al's, he'd grown up going to the place, and it was the shit, if you will. Everyone went to Al's and everyone knew Al, nice man.
He seated himself in the closest empty chair, the place was quiet, quieter then usual anyway. Quiet enough that one of the waitresses had time to clean the windows. That was nice, to get something extra done while you could. Jay wasn't really like that, he did shit and what he wanted. Or he had, before his dad got mad at him and he became an aspiring musician.
Jason looked up as the glass-licker approached his table, and he grinned.
Fucking, at least she was gorgeous.

Toni watched a guy walk in and set down the things she was using to wash the windows and came over with a menu for him, since he'd just waltzed in. Besides, she recognized him. He came here a lot. She might not have been familiar to him, but she knew she'd seen his face before, and maybe he already knew what he wanted,
She put the menu lightly on the table and asked. "Anything I get for you?"

Jason grinned, "Other then the strongest coffee you got and a turkey club? When's you're break?" Jay was a pretty straight forward guy. And who would say no to him? He was fucking sexy. Not that he went around admitting this on a day to day basis. Even though he could have...

Toni laughed lightly. "It's not exactly bustling in here is it?" She said with a little smile. she wasn't actually that out going, but she was friendly, and he was good looking. If he was a player it didn't matter, she wasn't going to let him take her home with him or anything. "My break can be right now as long as no one else shows up. I'll go put in your order." Toni said smiling before she left and walked into the kitchen.
She gave his order and came back with the coffee, which she set down in front of him. "You're sandwhich will be out soon." And in the meantime, did he just want company?
